hello,
i looked everywhere in here and couldnt find an answer, hope i'm not repeating.I am starting a new project and would like to clear out all my clips and files from my first project to make room for my next one.Anything I should do besides just delete each clip individually?
David

In terms of starting your next project? Not really. Space is space. You can get rid of all the .sfk files, too.

But be sure you're really done with them before you do.

cool, thanks. I edit on Avid at work and I have to go in the "attic" and delete clips there.Just want to make sure this isnt the same deal. After cutting my first project i Vegas, I have to say I prefer Vegas over Avid. Thanks Jubal.
David

No; Vegas does not create duplicate copies of clips like Avid does. It works from the clips wherever they are in your system.

yes.. and if you want to save the clips that you used from your last project but save space, you can save to a seperate folder and select the copy clips (with trimming if you want more space) this will move your project and only the files/clips you used. if its a short project you can burn to dvd and be done with it.
