Is it okay once a project is completed to delete the Thumbnail Cache files and the Waveform Cache files? I still have some of those files from my first project! I was worried that if I deleted them I would screw something up!
Shouldn't be an issue. FCP will just recreate those files if it needs. You could even delete them in the middle of a project. All they do is help speed up FCP. So when you open your project next time, it will take it a moment to recreate those files as you open up different files. Thumbnails don't seem to take anytime really. it's mainly the waveform cache that takes a while to recreate when you open up an audio file in the viewer, or if you have waveform turned on in the timeline.
