Haven't worked with interlaced footage for a little while so maybe I'm missing something. I'm editing in premiere 5.5. I have footage shot at 60i upper field. I edit in an upper field timeline and then nest it in a progressive sequence in order to export for web. Even though I'm exporting from a progressive sequence I still get interlace artifacts on my exported video. There is no deinterlace button in AME and the field option button is grayed out for nested sequences. The only way I've found I can properly deinterlace the video is to go to the original clip in my original timeline and deinterlace in the field options. This is fine, however, I hate having to do this for every single cut I made in the video. Is there any way around this? I'm exporting as an h264 mp4. Thanks!
