Deinterlacing a frame for export???

So I want to export a frame from a project i'm working on in PPro2. It's an interlaced avi file. I can't figure out how to get the frame deinterlaced. I export it and it's interlaced and looks awful. Can anyone help?

Import into PS and do it there

That definately worked. Why doesn't Premiere do this for you?

Also, I've heard some people say they deinterlace their avi files before bringing them into Premiere, what's your take on this, and what program would I need?

File>export>frame>settings>keyframe and rendering>deinterlace video footage

there you have it.

I believe you can also right-click on the clip and choose deinterlace down in the timeline, if I remember correctly.
