Before there was cinema... there was theater. Which is always nice to revisit every now and then.

For all you New York Metro Area members who would like to see a fine piece of writing brought to life on the stage, I'd like to recommend John Patrick Shanley's, DEFIANCE. A sequel to and every bit as good as his previous work, DOUBT, which incidentally is still running.

See...

You'll wonder, "How do they do it without cameras!!!"

OH I LIKE SHANLEYS STUFF. I MASSAGE DAVID MAMET AND HIS WIFE ON A REGULAR BASIS. JUST WORKED ON HIM TONITE. WE SEEN HIS NEW PLAY(dress rehearsal) about 2weeks ago, and now we are invited for the last week show. MAMETS THAT IS. BOSTON MARRIAGE here in L.A.

Wow kimko, very cool! I've only seen a few of Mamets works, but never on stage, which is a shame, since this is where he came from. Hope to get that opportunity some day. Hope he shares some writing insights while you work on him.

Kimko, looks like a troller up above, pay no mind.

Anyhow, good to keep it light, nobody likes to be hassled... Best thing I guess is to get yourself into a production of some sort and invite him to attend or tune in.
