I'm currently editing a video in FCP in 1920 x 1080, 30 Frames.
Whenever I spawn a title from within FPC, like a standard text one, I need to render it, and the worst part is I then am forced to render the video as well since the titles are being placed over them. Whenever I edit in 720 x 480, DV standard frame size, the titles do not require rendering. Is there a way in final cut to set the "default size" for titles when they are created, so that they may match the frame size I am using in my sequence? It really slows me down having to keep rendering the footage every time I am "trying out" a title.
Sorry if this is a noob question. And thanks for your help!
