Default Audio/Video Grouping

When I first started editing in Vegas audio clips would automatically group with its associated video event. That is, if you moved a video clip the audio would automatically move with it. This was the default setting and you didn't have to go through the "hassle" of grouping them. Somewhere along the way, this default setting got reversed and all audio and video tracks move independently unless specifically grouped.

Does anyone know how to swithc the default back so that they're group from the start?

You probably clicked the button on the tool bar that's an open lock over two sliding rectangles. Unclick it.
