Deep Freeze

I used a software called "Deep Freeze". It resets everything to the last reboot every time you restart. So any virus or registry gliches can be dealt with. It also keeps me from over indulging on bookmarks and useless resource hogs.

Are there any free softwares out there similar to Deep Freeze?

nothing that I'm familiar with to be honest

Turning on System restore in Windows does essentially the same thing - although you need to manually go back in time if something happens

Ah, you bring back memories of carrying a flash drive with the "Deep Unfreezer" so I could customize my school computer last year. Then the update came through and it didn't work anymore. Ah, well. There was still that drive for saving but no special backgrounds.
