Dedo's and a softbox

We've got a new dedo kit with three lights, lensing etc. We used it for long throw focussed lighting but what we don't have is a big softbox like a 4x4 or something.

My thought is that we should extend the dedo kit with some kind of softbox setup because we can keep using the single power unit. Is there a dedo softbox setup that is worthwhile? Is it foolish to try and make the softbox part of the dedo kit or should I just be looking at something that is stand-alone?
 
Dedo's really arent the right light to shoot into a softbox...I'd just get some sort of open face light and a softbox.
