Decided on the Fm 500 Mattebox

I've decided on the FM 500 mattebox for my temporary filter/sunshade needs. I have 4x4 filters...

So when I get it which ring should I get? 72mm?

Should it be clamp or screw on?

I know preferences were scattered on different threads but I thought it would be helpful to consolidate all these answers for anyone else purchasing this mattebox. Thanks.

If you simply buy it with the 72mm adapter, you will have to use it upside down, because the filter entrance will not clear the built-in mic. Nothing wrong with that. Now, Jarred, in a remote past have mentioned that there is a way to clear the mic without vignetting, and he described the combination of acessories in a post. If that works, is still a mistery, since I never heard anything else on the subject, but if Jarred says it works, it works.
