debating between two lenses, recommendations needed

If you are trying to match the FoV of the video you linked to, it will highly depend on what you choose to shoot on. Either lens is a T/2.8, and pretty wide, so your focus should be deeper than most experience, however, the FoV of the camera sensor you use will help determine the lens you should choose.

What is the size of the sensor?

DoF is controlled by three things, so once you figure out the focal length that gives you the FoV you want, you either need to keep the action far away (which at times the video you posted did, and didn't do) and then stop down as much as you can, by either lighting brighter, or increasing the sensitivity and lighting normally.

i don't know what the size of the sensor is, i will be shooting on my t2i. I own a 28mm 2.8 OM lense and although it is wide, i find myself wanting something wider hence the 24 and 20mm

Well, if you do know the sensor, and you know your desired FoV, picking between the two should be no more difficult than either a) trying them out.... or b) doing the math and finding the lens that fits the bill. I can't tell you what your subjective taste in wide angle lenses are.

Both are auto focus f/2.8 lenses. Besides FoV, I'd compare aberrations and distortion, as those are the big factors which present themselves in the very wide angle lens area.
