Death of Ken Russell

[TrueIndigo]

Controversial British director ken Russell died on Sunday aged 84. Ken's experimentation and creative ambition, even after the budgets got smaller, made him a distinctive, personal film maker. And when he fell out of favour with the film financiers, he kept on shooting self-funded projects with the then "new" DV domestic camcorders. Greatly missed.

His films include:

Women in Love (1969)
The Boy Friend (1971)
Tommy (1975)

[MPB]

my personal favorites;

The Devils
Salomé's Last Dance
Lair of the White Worm

Yes, I like those too. I also forgot to mention: Billion Dollar Brain (1967).
