Deal of the Century

wow!

wow!

=)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the MSRP of the DVX100 about $3500 when it came out? Not $4800 as quoted in the price in this auction??? (Maybe in Canadian money...)

I'm glad THIS one comes with the "built in" zoom lense and "built in" microphone...

That's quite a lot this guy paied for the extended life battery too ($265), not to mention the $300 charger and power cord... whatever

*rolls eyes*

check out that miniTripod in the deal! Wow, I paid $450 for one that looks half that good! ;)

I pity the poor, uninformed bidder who thinks that this is a steal.

people, this is $10,000 worth of equipment. if you don't believe me, please read my mission statement...

"Our business model is based around the protection of our customers from scams."

Wth, I could have sworn that this morning the seller has zero feedback to his/her name. I'm thinking account jacking.

Contradictory statements:

"A photography store has just gone out of business, now you can buy their stock, below wholesale cost!!!"

"OUR CUSTOMER PURCHASED THIS PACKAGE, USED IT A TOTAL OF 3 TIMES AND SOLD IT BACK TO US AT A VERY CHEAP PRICE. THIS COMPLETE PACKAGE WITH ABOUT TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS IN EXTRAS IS A GREAT DEAL! THIS WILL GET YOU GOING AND SAVE YOU THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS."

So who would this camera be from? The store or the customer? =P

Holy Shamrocks. I think you're right. A scammer scamming a scammer?

Well, he is right on one thing--you do have to be "vigil" to protect yourself from scams on the Internet.

I just hope he's getting lots of emails asking if he'll send the camera to Nigeria... :)

I almost fell for one of those the first time around. "No Dad hes not from Nigeria, he's just going to be there for a wedding!"
