Dead Battery

I was wondering if anyone has had a HVX battery (panasonic brand) just die on you. When you plug it in, the charger lights green for 5 seconds then the light turns off as if it was fully charged, but when I plug it into the camera, NOTHING. I have 2 batteries that are identical. One works and one doesn't. So its not the camera contacts. and the fact that the charger light ups tells me that at least the contacts on the battery are making contact with the charger.

Any suggestions, or should I just send it to panasonic and get it replaced?

this just happened to my laptop battery. I had to buy a new one.... friggin 90$..... at least the DVXuser bateries are 75$.
