Hey, quick question.

I shot HDCAM 23.976, transfered to DVCAM 29.97 and captured to prem pro. Is there any way I can get this back to it's original progressive state in premiere pro?

What pull up method did you apply when outputting it to DVCAM? Assuming that the cadence is still intact, you should be able to treat it as a 24p source.

Not sure, the footage was just copied from an HD deck to a DVCAM deck....I think like "PLAY"...."RECORD" (somebody i'm working with did the transfer) any thoughts?

Have you tried to open a 24p project and capture the footage? A simple frame grab of any scene with a decent amount of motion will enable you to determine if there is a temporal offset (interlaced) or progressive nature to the material. Post a frame if you can.
