DCSLabs CamAlign 1 Chart - How to use

Hi! Our company has just purchased CamAlign Chart. Our intention is to make sure all cameras, during the shoot, looks the same.My question is how do you make it work? I've been looking for manuals all over, and I'm completely lost.I understand that you have to achieve a specific pattern in the vectorscope in all cameras for it to look pretty much the same. Do you do this in production or in post (color grading/color correction). And lastly, what does "Gain x 2" mean. Please enlighten me!Thanks

Gain x2 is a setting on your vectorscope that magnifies the image by 2.

You fill the screen with the chart, then push "X2" on your scope.

Then you make adjustments to your camera's color controls until the color chips align with the scopes primary color targets.

Once you do that to all of your cameras, your cameras SHOULD match.

Thanks Mcgee. Is it still doable without a separate vectorscope? Our monitor (TV logic), has a built-in vectorscope and waveform monitor. Just can't find where to adjust the gain setting.

Btw, we use Log C (for Arri Alexa) and Canon Log (for Canon C500 & C300, as second unit cameras).

How do we adjust these gamma settings. From my understanding, these color spaces are already set to achieve the highest information possible.
