Hello all DVX users! As you can see, I'm fairly new to this forum, but I just had to ask this question.
First of all, I am fortunate to have the use of the DVX for the next two weeks. There's a problem though. I hear that the quality loss of the movie-look in daytime is very noticeable, and I have been told that it should be avoided if possible. I would like to make the best out of the next two weeks I have to film this project, but I am having a conflict with the screenwriter/director, who says that everything has to take place during the day. I don't think he fully understands my concern, for he is only looking at the story aspect of the film.
I am the cinematographer, and I am wondering if daytime filming will effect the film's '24-fps look.'
I hope this question hasn't been answered a billion times, because I have been reading this forum pretty thoroughly. Thank you all in advance you wise, talented filmmakers.
