Daylight Lights...Good but Cheap but Professional...?...

I need some decent Daylight type of lights for filming a short. What is the cheapest (as in cost) way to go?

I still need quality though so I am not looking at using Home Depot lights or anything. So I guess what I am trying to say is what are the cheapest Professional Daylight Lights I can get (purchase, not rent).

OK

Thanks

"Cheap" or "inexpensive" are relative terms. Cool Lights is a site sponsor and we include daylight or tungsten tubes free with our fluorescent fixtures based on customer's choice.

The CL-255 and CL-655 are in stock now, CL-455 will be soon.

These are inexpensive but if you need still more inexpensive than that you may re-consider DIY or Home Depot. You can get some decent DIY solutions but it takes some careful consideration. The N:Vision spiral lamps in 30w or 40w wired together into a multi-bulb fixture can yield some good results as can some of the 4 foot tube solutions too. You just don't have things like barndoors or easy adaptation to softboxes with solutions like these so they mostly fall into the category of large open face lights without much control other than external flags or whatever. Hope this helps.
