Daylight Balanced EHF?

You're not going to find a filament lamp that is daylight balanced. The closest thing you would find is a HPL lamp in a Source 4, they are over 3200k but not even close to 5600k.

Depending on the age and type of your Rifa light, you may be able to convert it to use fluorescent lamps. I usually run three 65W flos in my Rifa 55, which gives a very soft daylight balanced source (and the bulbs are individually switchable, so I can use one, two or all three as needed).

A few minutes spent browsing the Lowel site should show you the components you need, or if your light is new enough to take the interchangeable sockets.

There are a few Edison sort of solutions for daylight balanced lights. If you want it specifically for your rifa it sounds like converting it to cfl's would be a great way to make it work.

Other options are buying daylight balanced photofloods like BCA's or you can buy diachroic globes if you own any par fixtures. If you don't use cfl's the diachronic globes are probably the best way to go.

Which lowel lights are you referring to specifically? Any of them cheap? I have a DIY in mind and I have been looking for a GY9.5 socket light.
