yeah versus.... it will be made available soon but we're gonna rent out theaters and show it for a while then festivals etc....

Its in month 8 of post production. it is about 115 mins.

Versus was crazy. LoL. But, if it's similar to that then I totally get it. I would've never even checked Versus out if it weren't for the DVD cover. Maybe another poster rendition would make a difference to attract a larger audience if you do rent out that theater.

Good luck guys.

Wow, almost two hours long. Quite an accomplishment... can you tell us how long production took? (How many shoot days) And what the budget was.

It's more like 90 min. Spidey was looking at the entire timeline.
We shot for 13 days with 3 half days as pick-ups.
The budget was $55,000.

Not bad... I am going to be doing a feature this summer, with a 50k budget as well... So, a 16 day overall shoot... What crew did you end up paying? Did the cast do everything deffered?

Wow, guys. 55k budget is a LOT of money. That's nice. Keeping an eye out for the final product.

Any chance of getting a Hi-Res trailer up for the DVXuser community?

The main crew and main actors all got $1000.00 each for their efforts. I don't believe in deffering pay. We had some students and interns, but folks just wanted to play...and they were our students.

So many people screw folks over when it comes to film in this area. We tried our best to "not" be that way, even though we were limited on cash.

We have a similar budget for another film in the spring. I'm going to write it in a way that we don't need as many people (on the actor or crew angle) and try to spread the money around a little thicker this time.

It's wierd. If people know you are giving all the cash you possibly can, and they know for sure that is what is in your heart, man, they will follow you to the ends of the earth.

Good luck this summer.
