I played hooky today. I saw it. I loved. It kicked ass. This is what a Zombie film should be like. It had action, colorful characters, great storyline (in how they told THIS kind of story).

Anyway. Your thoughts?

I dunno, ever since I saw 28 Days Later, I've thought that it would be impossible to make a zombie movie better than that (of course, at its heart, 28 Days wasn't really a zombie movie).

You never know, though. I haven't seen Dawn of the Dead yet, so maybe it's even better. I doubt it, though.

I assure you. This movie kicks major ass. I loved 28 Days Later more for its format and treatment of the genre but this DOTD literally blows it out the water.

EW gave it an A Rating? I saw that and was like no way. This movie is pure fun, pure action, pure horror and is no way ever campy. This is what a Zombie, scratch that, a horror film should be. I emplore all of you to run out and see it.

This is exactly the kind of film that makes me want to make films.

With $27 mil bow, zombie remake topples 'Christ'
Universal's remake of zombie classic "Dawn of the Dead" had a lively bow, digging up an estimated $27.3 million to top the weekend box office.

I REALLY wanted to go see this, and a "horror fan" told me it wasn't good, but now I'm definitely going to see it, if you say its good!

(i'm watching 28 days later again right now)

It's not The Godfather 2 obviously but it is a fun ride.

I saw it last weekend and I dug it the most. It was pretty freaky. Good makeup and the like.
