Davis & Sanford Provista - How to remove FM-18 head?

Hi,

I've been searching alot for this and couldn't find an answer. After looking carefully at how it's made, I cannot find a way to remove the FM-18 head of my Provista Airlift sticks. Sure the sticks and head shipped already mounted together, but I would be really happy to be able to remove the head so I could use it on a slider.

Is it even possible?
