DaVinci Resolve- Anyone doing start to finish with it?

I have been messing about with DaVinci Resolve for about a week or so as well as watching the YouTube tutorials on the editing process with it. Wondering if anyone here is using it from start to finish and if so comments would be nice. I know many use CC but my initial foray into editing with it on a very basic Dell i5 laptop has been quite positive. I have no intention of attempting to grade on that but it was more of an experiment. I am NOT a Premiere user, and currently jump between FCP7 and X depending on which client I am working for. I don't like subscription software and won't pollute this thread with reason why.
Any feedback is appreciated.

I use Davinci for editing, and export video, convert video etc.

I got used to it and there are lots of fantastic tutorials (I like the ones from riple training and goats eye view)

Completely start to finish. Why Not?

Love jumping to colour page. Every time I hit a wall a manual/tutorial shows me that that thing is hidden away somewhere.

I love resolve!

Wow! Thank you Gentlemen for your speedy and encouraging response! I will now continue on my journey forward with less worry and a sense that I am a bit behind but in good company! Cheers

I've been working with Davinci Resolve end to end on my latest project. I find editing with it just fine. I love being able to shift over to the grade to try things. I linked polywav audio without trouble. I have been pretty happy.

I am suffering a particular problem right now though. I do my dialog edit and sound in Protools. Exporting an AAF has turned out to be a bit of a drag. If you deliver a Protools AAF it loads into Protools 12.7 but I cannot get it to export with handles, which is not good. I'm still working on it. I have a workaround but it includes loading out an xml to Premiere Pro but that kind of breaks the end to end thing.

I'm hoping I will be able to work it through because I like it.

Thought I'd post an update. I have a workaround to the Protools AAF preset not setting handles, thanks to the guys over at reduser. It's simple, easy and requires no extra software so it fits the end to end idea for my project.

Just select an Avid AAF preset, go to the Advanced tab, set frame handles to whatever you like, but uncheck Export Video. That AAF imported into Protools 12.7 for me without issue and has the handles. Then, go back to that timeline and export a video, no audio. I just did a YouTube preset and chose MXF OP-Atom, Codec DNxHD 720p 100/85/55/45, select the Audio tab and uncheck export audio. Go back to protools and import that video. It lands right on line but I have 2 pops on these anyway. Works great! No fuss, no bother and no Premiere Pro and I'm back to end to end with Resolve.

I graded my last project with it, which I edited in Premiere and it is excellent. The tracker is fantastic.
