This is the opening narration for my Christmas short film, "David Loses Christmas". This is intended to be produced by my church's youth group as their Christmas program project.

DAVID LOSES CHRISTMAS
================
NARRATOR
Not so very long ago, and not so very far away, in a little town in a little corner of the world, there lived a little boy named David.
David was no different than any other little boy. He wasn't big, he wasn't small. He wasn't fast, he wasn't slow. He did little boy things in little boy ways.
Like most little boys, David managed to find a little trouble to get into now and then. But when all is said and done, David was a good boy. He was kind. He was generous. And he was happy.
That is....he had always been happy before.
But today? Today was different. Today was special.
Today was Christmas Eve.
And today....David was not happy. No, David was not happy at all.
Why wasn't David happy? Well that, my friends, is a verrry interesting story...
