Date Movie

Netflick it! This is one of the few movies I've ever seriously wanted to walk out on. Sure it had some funny scenes, where the cat was taking a dump in the tiolet, but overall not very well done IMHO.
 
This and When a Stranger Calls were two movies in which I saw TONS of people see, and I would remember myself watching the previews saying how shitty they were gonna be.

It's reasurring though, isn't it? One time I was watching a bad movie on TV, and my dad walked by and watched a couple of minutes and looked at me and said "well, that's gotta comfort you some, right?" I asked why, and he said "well, if they can get their movie made, I'm sure you and your brother could do way better. So you might actualy have a career that's feasible after all."

By the way, I was told that you'd have a better experience banging your head with a lead pipe than watching this film. It'd be more entertaining and it wouldn't hurt your head as much! I myself wont go and see a spoof unless it's directed by David Zucker. Too many bad experiences elsewhere (loaded weapon, silence of the hams, etc.

In Electronic Gaming Monthly, they named Uwe Boll the winner of the "Uwe Boll Award for Worst Game-to-Movie Film"

And Memento is a wonderful film.

When you say "Netflick it!" I hope you are not suggesting that I should rent that movie. If it's so bad why would I rent it?

And if you seriously wanted to walk out of it, you should have. I used to walk out of movies all the time. Life is too short to waste our time watching nonsense.

The fact that Date Movie gets made has nothing to do with talent. It was cobbled together by studio execs and producers who just chose people they knew they could control (directors, actors, d.p.s, whoever) so they could create THEIR movie (a movie they could market). If you want to be a gun for hire on a film like Date Movie, sure, it's definitely possible. But you're still competing against the best in the world if you're trying to make a meaningful film.

"Date Movie" is the name of a film recently released in the states. It looks like a horrible parody of romantic comedies.
