Darker image!

Hi!

I made a grayscale image in Photoshop. Then I saved it in .tiff format. After that when I'm viewing it on my windows it seems to be a lot darker than in photoshop! What is going on? :huh:

Does this have something to do with the colour settings that I just played with? I switched it to Adobe RGB 1998...

Hmm...this has something do with the conversion from RGB to GRAYSCALE. When I convert my RGB image to GRAYSCALE and then save it in .tiff it looks darker in windows picture preview? Why is that? :huh:

It might be that your windows color space is different than Photoshop's colorspace. Try matching the two together, set both to AdobeRGB and see if that helps.
