does anyone listen to his comedy? i think he's funny as heck. and his Tourgasm show on HBO is pretty cool too.


what do you guys think about him?
 
most people think he's a little too obnoxious, but i can listen to his stuff over and over again and it's funnier every time. His show got some poor ratings tho.

i think the obnoxious thing is part of the act. like denis leary. a lot of fans say that he's really nice in person and will talk with you and take pics and sign things.

i love his bit about making a difference in a person's life. i laugh every time i hear it.
 
I think he's pretty damn funny. I'm actually surprised that it's taken as long as it has for him to gain widespread popularity. I remember seeing a special he did about 5 years ago and laughing my ass off.
 
I love dane cook, however i oversaturated myself on his stand up. Listened to it too much, the second disc of retaliation really gets on my nerves now, with the too long bickering couple sketch. But the rest is great. The same thing happend with Lewis Black for me, his opening routines really get on my nerves now, too much talking about the weather. But this morning, i just watched his red, white and screwed special, hillarious.

Who i'm listening to these days are Jim Gafigan who has 2 cd's out but one is a rehash of the other, David cross who is Hillarious, and if you like dane cook, check out daniel tosh, i dont think he has a cd out, but you can d/l his com central special if you look around for it. He has a style very similar to dane.
 
I dig his show on HBO, but I don't think he's that funny at all. I tried to watch one of his dvds, and I just thought it was stupid.
