I damn thee for robbing days of my life that could have been devoted to productive advancement of my filmmaking aspirations!

Seriously, thank you everyone here for making these forums addicting, entertaining, and completely informative. This is an awesome community. I find myself wandering back here multiple times a day. Now, if I could get offline and learn my programs better. Or better yet, go shoot something.

xavier......you think your bad now....just wait, Ive only been here for a little while, and Im on here 12 hours a day(mostly cause I waste away my hours at work on the internet) - I can't even imagine the addiction the guys with like 2,999 posts have.....

Xavier - Be careful. It starts with multiple visits a day and then it digresses to having multiple computers setup viewing individual DVXuser sections for updates. I have one PC viewing the Cafe, one viewing the DVX Clips, and a laptop viewing a Single Parent Biker Babes with Big Breasts and Old Tattoos message board. ......Research for an upcoming film. :)

see......I told you......DVXuser is like crack......but a crack that wont ruin your life and destroy everything you know as good, instead you'll just need larger and larger fixes more and more frequently

hey PK Gillock, where is Nong Khai in relation to Bangkok, my roomate travels back and forth between here and thailand, he wants to take my there, and I really want to go, is it a nice city?

PK - Maybe you should do a short on a guy that is so addicted to DVXuser that he has gone broke buying computers so each thread is being shown ... then show him going slowly insane as he runs from computer to computer hitting the reload button!

moonwind......I think you just thought up a good comedic short to make to share with DVXusers. Do it, it would be fun to see.

You'd think that if someone were buying that many computers, they would figure out that you can auto-refresh browser windows.

I know, you do this story about a guy, just an average guy, who, in order to break his addiction to DVXuser, assumes the identity of a monk....yea.....a Thai monk.....yea, then he gets into some disguise like, I don't know...a red dress yea.....then he shaves off all his hair (don't ask) and moves to Thailand (at his family's insistance-don't ask)....yea....and goes underground as a teacher.......an english teacher...yea...in a school...A GIRLS school...yea...he'll blend right in......yea....then due to an unfortunate gambling addiction he picked up since leaving DVXuser...yea cool.....he is heavy into debt.....so he needs cash FAST.....yea yea....but how to raise money fast......a fund yea...a fund.....for....oh I dunno....helmets yea....cool.....get strangers to give you money to buy helmets.....perfect....no one will ever know.....money, money, money.......debt gone...no more goons...yea....then theres an unfortunate event.....yea cool...a problem with some clothes....in the girls school....yea...HIS clothes....yea....something about exposure....yea...in a girls school in Thailand posing as an english teacher in drag with a shaved head making "art films" on the side.... yea.....I can see it now......

Spielberg will eat this up..........I wonder if PeeWee is available.......or maybe........

TC - "The Auto-refresh Story" That wouldn't make for an interesting movie. :)

Dyrseve - Nong Khai is way up in the northeast, along the Mekong River. A lot of foreigners/backpackers come here to cross the bridge to Laos. It's a nice quiet city. The laid back attitude is addictive. Sadly, Bangkok is a mess and isn't the "real" Thailand. Avoid it. And some of the islands might as well be called Hawaii II and III (save your money and just visit the Bahamas). Nothing about the beaches or islands is Thai. Not even the people. There's nothing but ugly foreigners, disrespecting the friendly Thai people and the beautiful Thai culture. It's sad that Thailand has allowed their country to become a whore house and playground for foreigners. But hey, you're welcome any time! :)

Words hurt, pookie. Words hurt. :(

Actually, I'm not even in Thailand. I'm in a basement apartment outside of Austin. Some guy I know is overseas teaching and I just asked him to film some stuff. I give him 10% of all the donations. :)

Oh, and you keep referring to the robe as "red". Monks aren't into summer colors. Monks prefer orange and autumn colors.

In Star Trek jammies I suppose......the ones with the feet......and the Tricorder pillow:shocked:

hey, PK - I noticed that, not to bring up a soar subject, but alot of the footage from where the sunami hit was foreigners, wtf? - should I tell my friend to bring me up north, I love secluded areas, especially mountain - valley, type areas where you can climb to a high point and see no civlization, just miles of untouched land....., the most I get in the NY/NJ area of US is the Hudson Valley, not really the ideal secluded place....

Musical, huh ... ummm, is Tommy Tune still around? With Usher, P. Diddy, and Clay Aiken as PK!!!
