Chris Albrecht, a friend of mine (although he never returns my calls), has started a great blog over at Atom Films. His writing is hilarious and has pop culture references that put Dennis Miller to shame. Right now he's at Sundance, giving behind-the-scenes reports on what's "really" going on.

Check it out. It's a good read.

Re: Daily Sundance Blog Report

It would be nice to have an inside scoop. I've been a f*ck Sundance guy ever since I read Lloyd Kaufman's books, but I'm even more so now that I have read Down and Dirty Pictures by Peter Biskind. It's a bit more sane and coherent than Kaufman, and a bit more balanced. At any rate, thanks for the link.

Re: Daily Sundance Blog Report

I can provide inside scoop, since I actually live in Park City year-round, not just for 10 days like most people that come here.
Traffic is already terrible.....

Re: Daily Sundance Blog Report

Your inside scoop would be from the point-of-view of a local who is sick of all the "moving pictures people" invading his town. An angry Park City Citizen blog  ;D

Let us know if you see or hear anything cool.

Re: Daily Sundance Blog Report

I feel for you. I know it must help the economy and all that. But what a pain in the ass. I guess I would feel differently about it if it was closer to what it says it is: a showcase for true independent filmmaking.

Re: Daily Sundance Blog Report

After a cancelled flight, the guy has finally made it to Park City. He posted to the blog today and will begin "real" reporting tomorrow. Check it out! Should be some very interesting and entertaining readings.
