The Missouri Motion Media Association is holding its first annual Conference and Film Summit in conjunction with the True/False Film Festival in Columbia, Missouri, February 26- 27, 2009.
Josh Wattles, a leading intellectual property rights attorney with Bingham and McCutchen in Los Angeles was interim general counsel for Paramount pictures, a former senior executive with Viacom and a key architect of the MPAA's video piracy programs when they transitioned to video cassette distribution. He will be keynoting the Thursday lunch at the conference. Wattles will be addressing "Fair Use" issues and statutes as applied to film and music rights.
