hey guys just got my D80 I'm really excited just waiting for my 18-200 vr lens. This is my first digital camera, and I tried reading the manual but it's just making my head hurt. Do any of you have a link to any tutorials that might show me how to use the camera better?

I'm on the same boat pest. I'm new to still photography and have just picked up the manual and it's very helpful. Maybe just do a few pages a day.

yeah great Photograph. Yeah I tried to read the whole manual and I was just overwhemed but thanks for the link Andrew

I thought the manual was a drag for the D80.

The best tutorials I purchased were the "D80 Digital Field Guide", "D80 Magic Lantern Guide", and the "D80 Training DVD", all three can be bought on Amazon. All very informative and detailed.

Good luck!

Ryan---I think you posted this guys link a week or so ago and it was the first time I went to his site. Since then, I have been addicted to it. I can't stop reading all of his articles. Even right down to the aspects for the older mechanical camera he has. I'm reading an article now where he is saying that full manual control is just stupid and I'm beginning to buy into his logic...
