I'm about to order a D|Matte from Jag 35, and was wondering about the usefulness of just having the top flag (the side flags are currently unavailable, though are being developed). I know quite a few people around here just use hoods on their lenses, and while I'm sure the length is similar, the mattebox has a far wider opening.
So, does anyone here have the D|Matte, and is it a feasible product as it currently stands?
