cutout posterized effect(?) How to do it?

Anyone know how to get the effect that they put on the band in this video? It's like a black-and-white high contrast posterized effect, "cut-out" from the background. Anyone have any ideas?

I can't get the link to work, but from your brief description, it was probably shot on green screen, and then using the Green screen alpha info as track matte to apply the effect and cut them away from the backgound. Or, they rotoscoped them out, but ouch if they did.
