Custom Editing PC Alternatives

Can you guys help me decide how to build a new PC that will be dedicated to editing GH2 AVCHD on Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 for output to blu-ray?

After poring over the Adobe forums I've selected all the parts: i72600k; P8Z68 V Pro; 16 GB Vengence Ram; HAF 932 case; Corsair 850w bronz PSU; 3 Hitachi 1 TB 7200 drives; GTX 570 card, BDR206 burner; Viewsonic 24" monitor. Parts alone are worth about $1750.

I think I have four alternatives to getting it built (no way I'm doing it my self):
  1. Microcenter will build it for $150 ($1900 total) (questionable ongoing service)
  2. My company's experienced IT guy will build it for $300 ($2050 total) (ongoing service but I'll pay)
  3. AVA direct (mass custom builder) will sell it to me for $2400 (who knows what service)
  4. ADK (specializing in editing machines) will sell it to me for $3000. (probably best ongoing service)

Anybody have opinions about what might be the best way to proceed?
Thanks much as always.

If you can plug in a toaster and have 'command' of the English language, you can do this! Otherwise I vote for your companies IT guy, because he's right there if you have any issues!

For the kind of money you're looking at, you might want to take a look at an HP Z600 or Z800 workstation.

Do an Intel SSD as your main drive. You'll notice a pretty nice performance upgrade and loading times for windows and programs will be lighting fast. From the time I push my power button until Windows is fully loaded and running is about 9 seconds and I only use a Sony I5 Laptop to edit with, which is still plenty fast. Just a thought.
