I am currently constructing my home made DOF adapter for my 37mm Panasonic Gs-150 3CCD camcorder. I currently am waiting for the other hood lens and the extension tube to come in the mail within a few days. Let me know of you have any recommendations for ground glass or any insight on my concept. I only have the telephoto lens and the lens hood attached so far. I'm calling this project "The Poor Man's" consumer DOF adapter. I don't think it's fair to pay around 800 for the adapter alone. I've read at least 3 different homemade DOF adapter tutorials but they involve too much construction and wiring.
