I am looking into mixing lights with my kino flo. And i am trying to put a ctb on my halogen 1000w light. However theres so many different ctbs i dont know which one to get. What ctb would you use to mix a 1000w halogen with a 4bank kino. I intend to use the halogen more to light up the background. But just in case i dont want to mix lights where i get a nasty color.

thanks

There are too many variables to give you an answer on here. Buy a variety, 1/4, 1/2 and full, and see what you need on set.

The kino i am using is a 4foot 4 bank with 3200k bulbs.

the halogens are britek halogen lights. The Twin 600 is a tungsten continuous light utilizing 2 separately controllable 300 watt quartz halogen bulbs for lighting control and a total of 600 watts. (from the britek website)

they should both be tungsten balanced.
If you need to gel anything i would use strengths of 1/8.
Either 1/8 ctb on the tungsten, or some people really don't like the light from a kino (mostly the diva, the 4ft 4bank is pretty good) so maybe you're getting a little green spike from it? 1/8 minus green maybe?
It really is all up to your eye.

thanks matty

while i have never used the diva. the kino flo four bank is my personal favorite light. it makes everything look amazing.
