I bought this USB Microscope because I thought a short film could use some CSI style closeup shots.
I'm pretty happy with it and the price was right. Still testing it out and it is fun to play around with. The trick is to hold it steady and move slowly. I used an old broken microscope to hold the USB device, inserted the USB microscope into barrel of the old microscope.
Works with Mac or Windows, seems to have more control with Windows PC (lock exposure maybe) - still figuring it all out.
I use QuickTime PRO 7 to record on Mac.
