CS5 on a PC- Does it play nice with others? MACS & FCP

Hi everyone. I am about to jump back into some editing. I have CS3 suite on older PC and it is time to upgrade or at least jump a bit to the side.

So the question is ..

If I stay with CS5/5.5 on a PC will I be able to send work out to other editors who are on MACs and better than I am on AE or Flash and then bring their work back into my project? Will it be a stable process?

I am also thinking about moving over to MAC again (been there). Tall order but with out a flame war would you PC guys reflect on what it is like to stay on PCs when most of your 'friends' are on MACs. I like both but the bucks are talking loud this year!!

If there are other threads on this please post a link.

Thanks all, best.

I'm on a PC. Never had a problem exchanging CS5 files back and forth with people on Macs. (Specifically PP, AE, and PS files) Biggest concern is keeping the media organized and online, but if you (and your Mac friends) know what you're doing, this won't be a problem.

There could always be issues with plugins of course, and since you ate moving from 32 bit to 64 bit versions, you'll need to buy upgrades for any that you use..... So if you want to switch to a Mac, now may be the right time. I personally would stick with a PC.
