CS5 not on default drive

I have a windows 7, 64 bit, i7 860 with 8gb Ram, 1tb drive with the OS on it. And I added a velociraptor 300GB 10K drive and put CS5 on it. Is it a problem not to have CS5 on my default drive?

It works for me on a simular Win7x64 setup, but Adobe still puts a ton of stuff on your default drive, even if you stick the apps on another drive.

I noticed that. I just read a thread where someone said to always put CS5 on the default drive. Mine is working, but it is my first time working with video editing software so I might not know any better.

It is common practice to put your OS and all your programms (not just video-editing stuff) on the default drive being C:
The 1 tb you can use for the rest. Do not partition, this will slow things down. If you have got some money left buy a third drive.
