CS5 Limitation on import

Hi,

I had CS4 before I upgraded to CS5 and my pipeline/workflow was as folows:

I would edit my music video in adobe premiere.
Once I had the edit down, I would import the premiere project into After Effects for coloring.
I would convert every piece of footage into a composition alowing me to color correct and add various effects.

Now with CS5 it seems as though everything is done via dynamic link so when I import into After Effects my premiere sequence is brought in as a dynamic sequence rather than a composition and I am able to select each clip and color correct.

Help Please.

Help? Sounds like it's working as it should...

Or did you mean, "I am unable to select each clip and color correct".

I've only begun to experiment with dynamic link. My test was going the other way, while in Premiere, linking to an AE sequence. My issue was that even though I had actually rendered the sequence, it seem when I selected 'render all' in Premiere, the sequence re-rendered rather than using the already rendered version. I've not been about to get back to that test to see if I can get more detailed on what I saw...

Haha. apologies I meant unable. Don't like dynamic link system in this regard. I would like to import with the old method where it basically converts the Premiere sequence into an AE composition
