CS5.5 crashing with both Quicktime and Cineform installed

I have Adobe Creative Suite CS5.5 and the main video programs (AFX, PP, AME) crash a 100% of the time on startup if I have both the latest Quicktime and GoPro Cineform Studio installed. It either crashes when loading CFHD_MOV_importer.prm or importerquicktime.prm. When only one of these are installed, the programs are able to start (though crashing about 30% of the time still). I need both of these working to continue my work. I've reinstalled Adobe Creative Suite, Quicktime, and Cineform many times to no avail. I'm on Windows 7 Home 64-bit and all version of all the software are the latest versions. I've searched the internet for a solution, but couldn't find one. Anyone else experience this?

Well, I just figured it out. I just deleted CFHD_MOV_importer.prm and CFHD_AVI_importer.prm and it seems to work now. I hope those files weren't anything important (I guess I'll find out soon enough).

It turns out I didn't figure it out, I just forgot I had Quicktime uninstalled. With Quicktime installed and those two files above deleted, it's still crashing on me 100% of the time. I have no clue what it could be. Maybe I could try renaming my VST folder...

Leave QuickTime uninstalled. You're better off without it anyway.

...then again of course.... if you deal with advertising agencies, studios, graphic and motion artists, post production facilities.,..you may be left out in the cold and have no business at the end of the day!

I'm considering just formatting my drive, but before I do, can anyone confirm that they have Quicktime and Cineform both working with Premiere Pro on Win 7 64-bit?

So just as a follow up, formatting and doing a fresh install of Windows seemed to solve the problem. Nothing like the brute force method.

I have all of the above working fine, never any issues, glad you figured it out. Sometimes a fresh install is the only fix. Lets not forget it's windows. Which is, wellll.... you know.
