CS4 exporting issue?

I imported my AVCHD clip to edit in PPCS4 and i went to export, created my template and all, and i exported it, but the file is nowhere to be found in the destination i exported it to. I went to the windows search and typed in the name, it came up but when i tried to watch it it said it was missing the file target.

any help?
 
The Media Encoding can be a tricky wee beastie, make sure you double check the output desdination, and it should still be in the render queue if you want to check where it sent it, in addition, there is a good update for it at Adobe.com
 
im installing updates for my CS4 master's collection as we speak, am I exporting right? File>export? I know in vegas it's file>render but in AFX it's like, composition>add to render que
 
Yup thats the way to export in CS4, you can open your prem timline inside AFX and add to render q, just import the Prem project into AFX
