It's a regular avchd to dvdpro converter. I was wrong. There is also a intra to quicktime for macs there.

Guess the codec is too new. Adobe is always the last one to support new formats. It took them almost 2 years before they supported P2 dvcpro. That gap gave rise to Cineform and Raylight. Looks like the a similar situation, Edius and Final Cut are first to support.

I really agree with you, adobe always the last and last one in NLE wars.Bu cs4 seems pretty nice except this acv-i issue:(

Sorry, this might've been true a few years ago when Adobe first released Premiere Pro 1.0, 1.5 and 2 but since the release of CS3 they've come a long way. Adobe was one of the first to release a patch for its NLE that would enable EX1 users to get real-time editing without transcoding their footage to another format.

Give the time for the HPX300 to get on the market and I'm pretty sure Adobe'll have a patch waiting to upgrade CS4 for AVC-I.

Yeah maybe thats thrue for ex files, but as a NLE software adobe was the last one gor mxf file support. But i have never seen a native support from NLE,even avid sometimes have problems and restrictions on mxf files. But premiere is awesome on this. But ı think we have to accept adobe products as they are. They are stunning but the limitations and these issues are really sucks:(

I think the thing takes time for them is to agree for the codec support agreement with panasonic. They don't want to pay huge amount of money to panasonic. So it takes time for us(adobe users)to work with new files:((
