CS3/Raylight - Media Start Timecode

I just noticed in Premiere CS3 that my Media Start timecode for my .mxf files is not being properly captured. All my clips show 00:00:00:00..... I'm using Raylight and directly importing my .mxf clips (no self-contained .avis.)
This was not a problem in PPRO 2.0 and I have verfied that this is happening in both my 1080i and 720P projects.

I'm pretty sure this has nothing to do with Raylight, but I want to see if anyone is else experiencing this?

I also get a starting timecode of 0 for all .mxf files in CS3. it hasnt really affected the way thet i work at all, but i can certainly see how you might want a continuous timecode for certain workflows. there is a workaround that you can use and turn on and off easily. when you use the direct raylight import support for PPRO, the settings within the raylight control panel still apply, so you can open the raylight control panel and click "burn in timecode" and it will show a little timecode window of the naitive files timecode within each clip. this way you can see the orioginal timecode if you need to. you can also select "rotate 180" so that you dont have to flip all your clips if your using an adaptor. then you can just shut off these features at ANY time before rendering by just deselecting the option in raylight with one click.

Thanks Neil.. I tried the burn-in timecode, but it won't help in my situation. After a typical run-and-gun shoot I can end up with dozens of folders which translates to hundreds of clips.. Not being able to sort them chronologically in Premiere CS3 really hurts..

btw - Do you happen to have Magic Bullet Editors v2 installed? I think I came across another issue.

nah. i dont have MB. you can sort the files by date if you wan them in the order they were shot in though. or like i do, i just name each exported P2 folder with the scene its attached to, and an order number if it took more than one card to finish the scene that way i just create seperate bins in PPRO for each scene/foldr on import, and ive only got a few clips (in order of time shot) to sort through if i want something in particular.
