I wonder what is this firewire and PN mode relation.Why people screaming like a mad about that they can not transfer pn from firewire.I do that since i upload my firestore and i can directlly import into my bin in Cs3 without any problem.
Am i missing smtng,or is it an issue for Mac users or Ntsc?I am pal user.And since there is no need file interperation in cs3(after firestore update) its wonderfull.Because i can show to my client the 50 fps slow-mo shots on the set through the monitor!!

The HVX doesn't stream 720/pN out of the FireWire port--it's 720/60p only. However, the latest revision of the Firestore firmware is able to remove the padded frames to create what is essentially native frame rate material. So, if you set your HVX to 720p/24p (the "over 60" mode, not 24pN), and configure the Firestore properly, the Firestore will remove the additional frames and record true 24pN. In CS3, the footage functions exactly the same as 24pN footage recorded to a P2 card.

(PS: I was using NTSC frame rate references, but it's the same for PAL users [25p/50p], as far as I'm aware.)
