CS2 question...

Hey guys, so I have CS2 Illustrator, PS and In Design. have no idea how to use any of them. I only need to use them for making banners, and ads for my business, just some images put together with text. Which do I use for that and can anyone point me to a tutorial for my specific needs? I googled to no avail, I only need to learn the banner and advertisement design. Ideas?

PS is for photos and composites, illustrator is for vector based graphics (logos etc.) and indesign is for desktop publishing. You should probably use photoshop unless you need to blow something up really large then do some work in photoshop and then bring it into illustrator to use vector text. generally text isn't that great in photoshop.
