Crossgrade and Power Book G4

One of my mobile systems is a Power Book G4 running FCP Studio 5.04 and MAC OS 10.4.8.

We just received the crossgrade and want to update the PB. I have heard by can not confirm that if I install the upgrade it will slow down the PB, and or it will not work.

Is anyone running the crossgrade on a PB G4 and what are the problems if any.

I'm running it just fine on my 1.67GHz Powerbook G4.
Love the new P2 ingestion.
Didn't seem to slow anything down. Runs like before with a few more bells and whistles.

I have a 17" Powerbook and it runs fine. Whoever told you that stuff was plain wrong.
