Crossbars

[Matthew R. Rodwell]

Does anyone have recommendations on where to buy a 12' crossbar for my background stand. I have outgrown my 7' one and I need to upgrade. I checked BH but their selection was rather limited. Would like to keep the price under $50.

What type of backgrounds stands do you have ? Longer rolls of paper or backdrops of that size can be heavy. If your using muslim you shouldn't have an issue.
I have used electrical conduit before. Most lenghts are just 10ft, but an eletrical supply house may have longer pieces.
Some of the websites that sell photographers backdrops sell different types and sturdiness of these lenghts.

Off the top of my head I can't remember. I believe its an Impact like the ones pictured but that one is a 12' I couldn't find a pic of the one I ordered.

The background will be a 10' x 14' foam core greenscreen from EEFX.

Yeah, they're usually pretty light, especially if you catch em right after Ramadan

Hahahahaha...

Check out the Amvona website, or search for it on ebay. Obscenely inexpensive stuff.
