I found when I insert a cross dissolve it shows a green bar (preview) it looks pixliated. Not smooth. Any comments on why?

Green bar is auto render, which is a preview render done fast enough it appears in real time. Do a project or transition render and you will get a blue bar and the full quality of the transition.

Jump up to Sequence and Render and choose the option to render green lines. Then when you do an Apple-R it should clear up those green lines.

The pixliation is just because it reduces the quality of the picture so that it can preview it in real time. As they said, render it and it will look better.
