Hi all,
My first post so be gentle I am wondering about the crop factor of letus adapters (basic or extreme). No one mentions any crop factors, so is this a silly question? What is the FOV I get when I attach a 50mm lens(35mm equivelent of course)?
Exactly. There is no crop factor when you use the full-frame size, and if you zoom in from there, the amount you zoom in is the amount of cropping you're doing.
SO the full frame size when I attach a 50mm. lens is the same as in a 35mm. camera. Then the full frame crop factor is 1, I guess.
ANd in that case I can also use my lenses for my digital Pentax with a crop factor of 1.5. But have to zoom in a bit to get rid of the vignetting.
Hmmm sounds good I may even be able to use my pentax fisheye zoom lens 10-17mm.
Thanks for the responses
in actual fact, i noticed that with my xh A1, the zoom in factor to achieve the same field of view as 35mm film cameras is around z78-80. If i zoom out any more than this, due to the offset of the GG to my camera, i see vignetting.
